Canterbury Glen Eagles Take a Third Straight Teams Title
This is a 2024/25 season result. It was published here as January 2026 news and under the wrong championship name. Corrected 25 August 2026.
The Canterbury Glen Eagles won the ENZED Superstock Teams Champs at Palmerston North's Robertson Prestige International Speedway, their third in a row and, per the host venue, an unprecedented hat-trick for an out-of-town team.
The final saw the Glen Eagles beat the Baypark Busters.
Getting there was contentious. In the semi-final against the Auckland Allstars, driver 72a Cody McKee was disqualified for "seeking sanctuary", reversing the result and putting the Glen Eagles into the final. In the tier two semi, Manawatu Mustangs driver 581p Jordan Dare was disqualified for the third time in three races, handing the win to the Stratford Scrappers. A long delay announcing the semi-final results added to the mess.
