Chris Cowling Claims Third NZ Super Saloon Championship

Chris Cowling has cemented his status as the king of New Zealand Super Saloons, winning his third NZ Championship crown at Meeanee Speedway in Napier on March 1.

The Baypark-based driver, racing his trademark CB2 Chassis, was in scintillating form across the weekend, adding yet another title to an already glittering career that includes five South Pacific Super Saloon Championships.

Cowling's dominance of the class shows no signs of slowing. His ability to extract maximum performance from his purpose-built machine has made him the benchmark in a class known for spectacular, high-speed wheel-to-wheel racing.

The NZ Super Saloon Grand Prix followed at Robertson Prestige International Speedway on March 7, further showcasing the depth and excitement of one of speedway's most popular classes.
